Ok, I finished my map and I gave it to my friend and he put it in the server. But when he changed the map to my map, he said the server froze but, it allowed me to go in. Not other players.

Nvm, I got it.

A dude from this one forums said I can get peoples spray that I played in same servers and is packed in "custom.hpk". So you download hpk.extract and you drag the custom.hpk to it and it will get you a bunch of spray people have.

I did that, made it to func_rotating. And it just went around the map. Like it wasn't even on its handle anymore. It just flew.

Hi guys I'm back. Didn't really post anything for a longtime cuz, I quit mapping for a few months and started playing again. Well, I sent my old Jailbreak MOD map to this one server. And when they change level to that map the server crashes. And I don't know what the problem is.

If the gun rack is an entity, the gun will fall through it. You have to make it a regular brush (or make another regular brush in the same space - clip brush might work too, I tried it once but I don't remember what the result was).
If it is a regular brush, make sure that the armoury_entity is high enough.

1 more thing, I want my doors so when you touch them, it will hurt you but, I want it to move like my doors. So like, when I press a button to open a door, the hurt entity will move with the door. That's 2 entity in one brush. Right? How would I do that?

Basically, that's using 'func_door' and 'trigger_hurt' in 1 brush.

EDIT #2: I just tested my map and it still does it, even tho I put it high, the spawn and the trigger_mmultiple. When I have a gun, and I go in the room where a trigger_multiple is, I get a knife. And my gun disappears.

No. That would trigger the multi_manager and game_player_equip at the same time. Do it like this:

1) trigger_multiple under the spawn. Target "multi1".

Jailbreak is a cs MOD. You have to follow the ct's commands and if you don't you die. When you are last. You type a command, /lr. With that, you can race, 1v1 knife, highest spray, shot 4 shot with a CT. It's a really fun MOD.

Because, I sent this map to a server, and they said, when they dropped a gun it disappears and weapons reload every time they go in back of the room where I put the trigger_multiple. Can anyone do it for me please? Because I need it so, terrorists only get knife and when they drop a gun it doesn't disappears. The terrorists are in the cells, little cages.

These chairs, are for musical chairs. :D
I put the little square on the middle of the chair so, who ever is on it, wins. Because sometimes they don't know who got on the chair 1st. I'm making them as "func_breakable". Textures are, "Wood01" and the white squares are "white".

I tried using the func_healthcharger for the hp healer, but, when I pressed "E" on it, it was empty. It was pressable though.

It can't fit... Becuase player_weaponstip is a big cube and I can't fit it under the spawn.

When I put a skybox around my map and it didn't say like the hull 0. But it saying the entity was causing the leak. So, does that mean I have hole in my map?

And when I got in my map in game. There was no light.

I'm using 3.5, and yes I can see the lines in camera view. But, everytime I open Hammer 3.5, I have to set it up again and again. I have to add WADS, game directory, and stuff... How do I make it so when I open it, it will all be set up for me. Like with my Hammer 3.4.

I found the light entity that was causing the leak. It wasn't outside the map... And they're saying that it is. This is what it says. I found the entity already. What do I do with it? I saw a thread that they said to not delete because it might start somewhere else... I even loaded the point file and the lines weren't even close to the entity....

Oh, wow. My friend is making one and he really made one. BUT! He showed me that map to look cool. Haha. But he really did make one. He won't show me so I won't copy his. Yours is nice. Add me to "Steam" so you can teach me some stuff. The dynamite?!?!?! The cars!?!?!?! The jumping rope?!?!!? The music?!?!? Like when you press it, it goes on! The cars!!! I want custom cars though. You have like wood cars. Hehe. But your map is sick! So far, I'm done with pool, cages, cells, lockers, showers, boxing room, working on trampoline, I found a trampoline prefab in fpsbanana but, when I load and compile it, my map gets an error. I'm going to add vents. Working on bed and toilet seats in cells, armoury_entity, light entity, and gravity entity. I'm going to add gravity room to it, but I'm not sure how to really make it correct. I have alot more to add!

The CT's are easier though you want to put a brush tied to func_buyzone somewhere that nobody can reach at all. That will eliminate the initial buyzones Counter Strike puts in there.

You may be having problems with your armoury_entity because it is on the ground. No entities can be touching a brush, thus you must make the armoury_entity above ground it naturally will fall down to the ground, and no one will know.




OH! Thanks man. Becuase I put the entity way on the ground. Now I put the entity's like 3 units above the ground.
But 1 more thing. How do I open doors using buttons? And putting models in my map?

Ok, when I was compiling. It said that it had a LEAK and it was one of the armoury_entity. I checked at every armoury entity and they weren't even outside the map or something. I went to the "Entity Report" to check all of them.
