So the title says it all
Well to those of you who downloaded my cs_suitelife map at fpsbanana I created a V.2 for it but now I have a little problem. You can't rescue the hostages and the bots doesn't go the the second floor of the building the hostages are located in. The reason for this is coz CSCZ doesn't create the nav file so that bots and hostages can move on the second floor. Any help? Truck

This is so damn stupid.
I can't insert a cylinder , the moment I create one my maps doesn't compile, and the very moment I create one I press Alt+P and there is a error immediatly. Any help guys ? Truck

Ok now how can I make a turnable wheel valve that one you turn it steam comes out of a pipe that activates a trigger hurt witch doesn't stop untill you turn the wheel back. I tried before but when I turn the wheel my while map rotates. ( Funny and weird I know...)

I did this and it still happens. I can't find myself mapping for more than an hour coz it takes me about an hour just to select a brush to align the textures but eventually I run out of patience and then kick the PC pff the desk, so can anyone help me before I end up buying another new PC ? User

Nah mate you watched too many monsters inc. But hey talking of that how about a whole teledoor map , where you enter a door and suddenly your in Antarctica and then one there you enter another door witch sends you to the grand canyon , then from there you jump off a cliff then fall to the ground when you hit the ground your on a lonesome island surrounded by hungry sharks ? But Alas it's just a dream.

Some of you may remember a couple of monts ago I mentioned That I want to place rats in my maps , Then I got a mod for halflife called Paranoia ( Paranoid Something like that ) and as I played the game there were some places where there were rats and if you step on them they give out a loud Sqeel and then die , Can anyone explain to me how can I do this in CS ? So I thought of this Can someone tell me how can I make a driveable car or provide me with a tutorial or a link to a tutorial
but I want to design the car that you cant shoot a gun from it instead once you press the use key to enter the car , you can only shoot using the car but the car must not shoot where you look but only straight ahead of the wheel, kinda like the stupid Ricochet game by valve ( you cant aim , just shoot straight ahead ) can anyone help me with this , I have a cool idea. Ok I noticed on team fortress that some items can only be picked up by certain teams now how can I do this in CSCZ.
I want to make a mounted machine gun that can only be used by the terries , now I got a new PC ( Finally now I can make Bigger maps than usual ) and I forgot to backup all my previous data so I have to start mapping all over again now I remember most of the stuff , But I need some tutorials again, I also need the content for the .bat file I kinda forgot that. I also need a tutorial for a mounted machine gun coz I can't remember where I found my previous tutorial. ( It feels like I've got amnesia. ) I also want to know whats the minimum requirements for the graphics. Then there is another weird thing happening that didn't happen on my old PC when I'm mapping , If I create a solid , there's a diaganol white line through it now this also happens on my laptop , but it never happened on my old pc, can anyone explain this to me, also when I click on the solid , if there is another solid behind it , it doesn't select the solid I click on but instead the one in the back. first of all check your wad files in wally some of the textures you used are too big so maybe you placed some paintings or something in your map or strched a texture too big. If you did theres your problem but do note that you may also have shrinked a texture too small so go through your map and scheck it out.

ok check out crossfire its a map I downloaded at cstrike planet, it's got healthpacks and those stuf against the walls that you use in halflife that rechareges your healt I just don't know how they create them.

Ok the map opens and plays now but when I want CSCZ to generate a nav mesh the game stops again, and I'm only using 6 wad files.

The higher I make it the worse the error gets with 0 it failed at 88 bytes but now it fails at 1808 mb after using 1024000.

There has to be coz I just finished turning all the wads on my pc into 1 and it has more than 8600 textures and is 170MB but now when I want to add it in hammer I get an eror saying VHE as performed an illigal operation and has to shut down, so I'm screwd coz I like using alot of diffrent wads in my maps.

Yeh then when you shoot it the whole window breaks, thats not what I want. Check out a source map like cs_office if you shoot a window it breaks up into lots of pieces but it doesn't fall out and if you walk through the window only the parts where you walk through falls out. I want to do this for a 1.6 map.

Then check the coordinates and find the brush thats making the problem and delete it and rebuild it also make sure that if it's a thin brush and you fitted the texture that on the thin sides the texture size must not go under 0.25. hope it helps.

Ok the doors work but now something is completely wrong! I've made two huge maps but now after compiling when I press a key the game starts and the map loading progress bar gets to about 6 blocks then my game freezes, now I've tried the same maps in cstrike and czero and it freezes both of the games, then I made a simple map a hollowed box with 1 t+ct spawn and 1 light just to check if the problem is somewhere in my big maps but the test map also freezes the game.
Then I played some of my previous maps ant they worked fine the same with the original cs and cz maps, it's just recently that the problem started ( 3 days ago ) can anyone help? Truck

OK this sucks I've made a huge map first error was exeeded max patches now I fixed it, but this next error is totaly weird coz on my pc I don't get it. But on my sister's pc I get a leak but it's inside the map. The leak is my hostages how can a hostage be a leak? So I delete all the hostages then when I compile I get another leak, this time it's the terrorist spawns, now I can't delete all my spawn points. What is wrong?

Ok Hammer mapping is cool but I discovered something just as fun that I want to try out. Ok I some guy on another forum got a problem I said I'll find out whats wrong.This is whats wrong "Please, help me who knows, cause I'm bad with computers. I downloaded CS source from steam. ok I can play all of them but I didn't buy them I got them from a friend they work fine on steambuster and now I copied the files to steam now Halflife 2 deathmatch and day of defeat works but CSS doesn't. But I did some research and found out that my Friend where ever he got the games he didn't get the tools.GCF file so that explains why I cant get source sdk but now I want to ask I can get CSCZ will the tutorial work for condition zero or do I need another fancy program like Source SDK?

I'm using CSS and it does It says sampling walkable space and a bunch of other stuff but then while I play the bots just stand still or jump up and down in one spot. So any idea how to fix this?

This sucks I got steam and I have counter-strike but after I install steam it needs to update. Now with my slow 52k internet ( if I get lucky I connect at 41kb/s ) I get to 6% then it falls back to 0% is there any way I can download the updated version of steam otherwise I'm lost.

I've tried everything to compile my map but nothing works.
I tried the old batch file way and it didn't help. Then I tried the zoner compile tool way and that didn't work. The compiling goes 100% correct but when I want to play my map in CS Source it wont start. I've been to 3 diffrent forums and no one can help me. I talked to a guy on facebook, he also couldn't help. OK I've magaged to get this far I found that my game config and build program options were wrong that's whay I couldn't use the hammer compile tool. But I've fixed that and now hammer compiles the map correctly but I get a message when I want to the map that looks like this "CmodelLoader::Map_Is Valid: 'test' is not a valid BSPfile
map load failed: test not found or invalid." Does that help anyone? It's not helping me User
