Ok I got textract but now every BSP file I want to use displays the following error: Unsupported BSP file. How do I fix that?

Dunno, read the documentation on textract. It could be that you are trying to extract from 1.6 maps rather than Source maps or vice versa.

1) BSP file, like de_inderno.bsp
2) Textract --> http://www.superjer.com/files/textract.zip
3) Put them in the same folder
4) Open a command window there
5) Type: textract de_inferno.bsp de_inferno.wad
6) And press enter

That's what you do to textract from CS1.6 maps. I don't know if it works for source, probably won't.

thank you but I already have textract but it wont open any of my source BSP's where can I find a program for source BSP's?

Well download something else from there. Most of the stuff is pretty decent.
