PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've made my map exactly as the tutrial told me to. But then when i compiled my map, it compiled without any errors and it read 1 File copied.

My problem is I want to play it on CSS and when i want to start a server and click on start the screen dissapears, so I think my problem is the batch file.

I also tried to start a norma map and then change to my map via the console and I got an error message that said not a valid bsp file.

Can someone help me please?

Now, when you say "But I want to play it on CSS" are you saying that it's a NON-SOURCE map or that it was made for a different game and you're trying it in CSS, or did you just phrase that sentence wrong? Because if it's either of the first two then there's your problem.

superjer's tutorial is for COUNTER STRICE 1.6.it CANNOT work on source.if you want to make maps for source i suggest you try another site because here we are doing mostly 1.6 maps,although some of the boys might now source mapping too....

OK I've magaged to get this far I found that my game config and build program options were wrong that's whay I couldn't use the hammer compile tool. But I've fixed that and now hammer compiles the map correctly but I get a message when I want to the map that looks like this "CmodelLoader::Map_Is Valid: 'test' is not a valid BSPfile
map load failed: test not found or invalid."

Does that help anyone?

Download Source SDK from the Tools tab on Steam... open it up and exec your CS:S's info file thing and then open up hammer.. cant explain havent made a source map in a while
