OK I places a info_vip_start so I could have hostages but when I load the map there is no hostages.

How do Ifix this?

are u sure that if u place out a info_vip_start u get a hostages and not a vip player? I think hostages_entity sounds more like it:D.
I have not built a map with hostages so I dont know , but try it out

info_vip_start is for vip rescue maps...
if you want hostages then use hostage_entity and info_hostage_rescue/func_hostage_rescue.
I would recommend using the func_ for the area though.

...and that's the bottom line because Mate de Vita said so.
