Take a battery, a light bulb and wire. Connect the battery to the light bulb using the wire. There! You have your lights!
Alternatively you can go entities and select light. It doesnt waste batteries in that way. Truck

Okays I just steamed my Counter-Strike...(Ha ha I meant downloaded Steam) and went to the tools and download HLDS but when it started up I couldnt find my server on Counter-Strike... What the heck is wrong???

I had the same problem. But I just moved the spawnpoints closer to the ground and the bots didnt worldspawn. Why not try the same thing too?

Are your entities in the map? Are they outside in nothingness? Or maybe you entities are stuck in the walls.

Maybe your compiler doesnt work, try redownloading it. And can you post the compile log? Maybe you didnt put any entities in your map. Try make your map smaller too.

Well I always use Half-Life Dedicated Server it is a dedicated server meaning so you do not have to actually be in it to host it but you have to be in it to get anyone to join. My HLDS doesnt work. I tried reinstalling but still same error. Should be corrupted.Anyway, I didnt know about that rule... User

Thanks a lot all of you my map finally worked. But when I played with bots, I worldspawned in the first round, then my com hanged in the second round. Talk about bad luck.

My God a new error in the map...
hlbsp: Error: A LEAK is a hole in the map, where the inside of it is exposed to the (unwanted) outside region. The entity listed in the error is just a helpful indication of where the beginning of the leak pointfile starts, so the beginning of the line can be quickly found and traced to until reaching the outside. Unless this entity is accidentally on the outside of the map, it probably should not be deleted. Some complex rotating objects entities need their origins outside the map. To deal with these, just enclose the origin brush with a solid world brush User

Oh ya and when I open the .bat file it will run but after a while another window will appear which shows hlbsp.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.
