Nice. All dreams seem to have that strange quality where things are not normal but you act as though they are. Which is what makes them dreams, I suppose. They're quite fantastic when you remember a good one.

Enjay... your dreams always have a subtle touch of creepiness. I need more details though, were there any other people around? Were they dressed like they belonged in the 50's? Did you open the suitcase or did it just blow up?

It's more than subtle a lot of times, but I don't think I've told you about any of those just yet and I can't remember any off hand that I haven't told you about.
1) There were other people around at the motorcycle bar and they seemed to be reliving the 1950s while they were in their 50s but I don't think they were time travelers. I seem to remember seeing other people to but nothing was terribly out of place about them, though their appearances were comparatively conservative.
2) If the suitcase was intended to self-destruct upon contact, then yes, I did not diffuse it. Uh... I touched the handle and it popped open with all my stuff spraying out like those cans of nuts that actually have paper snakes inside. I don't think that helped explain it at all but here we are again. It was definitely a trap, I know that much.
