Technically, what
we're doing is called senryu
and we got it wrong.
Senryu is just the
seventeen syllables, but
Haiku is distinct.
To be a haiku,
a senryu needs to use one
of the four seasons.
Some Japanese dude
corrected me on this one
a few weeks ago.
