A bastardization of the phrase "the internets", used by Bush in the debates back in '04 and then scattered around the web like every other soulless meme. The internet is a hive mind, really, it just depends on how long you're connected to it and what parts.

Hive mind. Yep. The very beginning of what many know as the Borg. It will be the demise of mankind as we know it. Think about it. Ever heard of the NARPA AI? It's a US gov't project that is supposedly going to be online in 2012. What certain people are saying is that this new AI project will include a voluntary (at first) electronic implant in (or near) American civillians' brains and will be entirely connected to a "superserver" AI. I think it has something to do with the I2 project as well. I'd better shut up about this. Big Brother is watching...

All the biggest conspiracies are related. It's all part of one over-arching conspiracy.
Being at the hub of the Internet and with near unlimited access and connections, I know all about what's going on.
But I can't tell you. I promised. And with the NSIs (neural security implants) I'm not sure I could even if I tried.
But I can tell you it's just not that great to know. It's not as cool or exciting or fun as it is when it's a mystery or a puzzle. Trust me, you don't even want to know. I wish I didn't. It's just mildly depressing.
