I think the U.S should war with every country that sucks because historically when that happens they become cool countries years later.

I agree with supes. Germany and Japan are two perfect examples of asshole countries that turned all nice and happy after we beat the living shit out of them.
Japan used to be an imperialistic country that was absolutely obsessed with going onto the asian mainland and killing people JUST BECAUSE THEY COULD. Then the US nuked them. Now they like robots and fluffy bunny robots. I'd call it an improvement.
Germany... ... ... Germany + Hitler = bad. US + Allies = -1 Hitler. Germany - Hitler = annoyingly bad justice system but basically okay.
So, using this formula. Iraq x Saddam - dictatorship / US = good?
...you get it.

Yeah, the stuff that Japan was doing to China in WWII was beyond disgusting.
I'm not particularly a fan of Bush (Christ-love being one of the reasons), but it's not like Kerry bothered to define himself as anything but Not Bush. Much as I don't like to admit it, the Iraq War was probably necessary and a good thing as it removed a genocidal crazy guy from power. Whether it actually helps us in the old abstract "War on Terror" remains to be seen.

Even if it multiplied the number of terrorists, it would still be worth it. MANY less people will die than would have if Saddam was left alone. Every dictator should be dealt with similarly, as there is no such thing as a benevolent dictator. Only those that would abuse total power actually want to have it. One who would technically be a benevolent dictator always does what George Washington did.

I hate Bush.
The Iraq war was probably a good thing though, because it resulted in the net loss of a Saddam Hussein in power.
Everything else Bush has done has sucked a lot though, to put it in technical terms, with one exception that involves stances on abortions.
As much as I hated Kerry, he wasn't bush (and that is something). I guess that's moot now.
Speaking of moot, I sure wish we had an Al Gore back in the last election. He may have been a robot, but he was a robot that would have made a fine president. Inside his cold steel chest beat the cold steel heart of someone who seemed to be pretty good at not making an ass of himself. This is a trait that several of our last presidential candidates seem to lack.

Kerry was easily the worst campainger I have EVER seen. Never have I seen so many random and unfounded accusations come blasting out of a politician.
He yelled "fuck off" at a reporter when he asked a question Kerry didn't like... SERIOUSLY... how stupid can you BE?
Accusing Bush of having an evil plot involving a non-existant lumber mill was funny at least.
That was one of the few witty things Bush has ever said when he asked the moderator if he wanted to buy some wood. I died laughing... I had to be ressurected. I'm ZombieJer now.

I think the soldiers shouldn't be off fighting a pointless (you heard me!) war in Iraq. Our economy is suffering as a result. Our soldiers are banging Shiite chicks instead of our own homegrown hookers. Just look at Everett! The city has gone to hell since this war started. The gas station I used to work at got robbed 3 times in a row. That's how desperate the hookers are to make up for lost income. I'm serious!
And Japan was cool before the US interrupted, too. No more samurai now. Remember, that was partly the US's fault (and partly Portugal and the Netherlands). And remember, Japan and Germany changed after two interventions. You can't say the US has intervened seriously with Iraq twice yet. They went in against Saddam Hussein during Bush Sr. and Saddam was still in power when Bush Jr. went in. We got Hussein out, but don't expect any significant changes because this was only the first significant intervention. We'll go to war with Iraq again at some point in the future, mark my words. If we don't, then Iraq will be a shithole until the end of the world, which is fine with me. I'm not advocating another war with Iraq.
