Yeah I've seen all about portal. Kinda weird with that and Prey at the same time, although what I've seen of Prey has been Doom 3 with 10% more light and space in their dark electric conduit tunnels.
I might be able to get over there on Wed NES day, I'll ask Bizzetty if she can take care of Gramps for me for the day. You still live in the same place right? I can drag Jay's useless corpse along as well if he hasn't already been there.

Hey, my corpse isn't entirely useless. It's mostly indestructible, it just can't seem to hold down most solid foods.

Prey sucks. Totally bored out of my mind with it in 10 minutes. The portals are just a gimmick that adds little to nothing. In fact, sometimes I just thought they were annoying. They're kind of glitchy too.
And in Prey if you don't look in a mirror, it feels EXACTLY like Doom 3. Something I'd rather avoid feeling.
Portal looks like some dementedly awesome combo of Diet Mario's doot-doot-doot puzzles and Cube 2. My only wish is that it wasn't so obviously made out of Half-Life 2.
Oh yeah and I'm adding portals to SPARToR. Not that I wasn't already planning it for Zanzahar-style support.

I've played Pord Ralucabran more than a few times, but I've never heard of that.
Also, I won't know fo' shizzle if I can come over until whensday morning because it is dependent on Grampa's mood. If he's being a big crazy-ass I'll have to stay home and take care of him, but if he is placid like morning dew then I can probably come.

That'll work at about half capacity. I don't feel it would be entirely okay to invite friends over here, especially while G.R.A.M.P.S. is all riled up... so Jay would have to take a backseat. Not literally, as in he wouldn't be in your backseat on the way over, or the front seat! As a matter of fact, he wouldn't take any seat at all!!!

Prey was awesome. At least the storyline was anyway. Combat was rather bland, however, and it WAS too dark.
I dont see how the portals were glitchy, other than you can see through the back of them, and can stand in some of them.
If you jump high enough you'll hurt your ankles when you land.
