I got to the point where I can't really stand Family Guy anymore. It's just kind of disgusting at this point, because I can watch an episode and think, "Okay, it's been so long since some obscure reference or they just had some random idea they decided to shove in as filler". Maybe when the new eps come out, I'll start watching again, but right now, it feels deliberately random while still somehow giving a shit which isn't fun for anyone.

Each episode was 100% one or the other, I think. Also, there were only two episodes: The funny one and the unfunny one. Even the funny episode was only funny for so long...

I say it's more funny than not funny, or at least the times when it was funny were stronger than the times it wasn't. I mean, there were some mediocre episodes (Waking Quinn, Beck Bristow, Monkey Banana Rifle, Cavemen), but there were some pretty brilliant ones as well (I Robot, Stimutacs, Bizarro). Actually, there were probably more "bad" eps than good ones, but the bad ones weren't horrible.
You could tell that they were really hit hard when Harry Goz died, though, and really without Murphy it's not quite the same. Sharko was only funny as a one-episode character, and there were only a few episodes (Whale Cancer, namely) that had me rolling in the Shanks era. I'm kind of sad that they've canceled it, but not much more sad than when they canceled Brak Show and certainly not as much as the most recent time they canceled SG:C2C

Sealab is a show on Adult Swim... Actually, back in the '70s, it was a Hannah-Barbara cartoon by the name of Sealab 2020, which dealt with an underwater research station, but Adult Swim updated it into the parody known as Sealab 2021, which almost always ended with the station blowing up.
