I told RB I'd get some pics for him, so I did.

The Story:
My sister-in-law called me up and told me I needed to spend the night at their house, because there was an electrician coming out the next day. Everything was fine that night, and I fell asleep on the couch.

I woke up, I can't remember what time, and felt absolutely sick to my stomach. I felt worse than when I had food poisoning at MEPS. So I sat-up and eventually the sickness went away. I woke up sometime later, and jus' felt like there was something wrong. I got up and turned the light on. Then I noticed there was a hole in the ceiling and a little flame beyond it.

Next thing I remember is waking up on the floor. I got up and woke my sister-in-law and her daughter up. We made it outside and I sat down in the Wrangler, because I could barely walk. I got a few breathes of air and felt better, so I went back inside to help get the dogs out. I remember a brief moment when my sister-in-law was holding me up and yelling something.

We successfully got everybody and all the dogs out. We waited for the fire department to get there, I've no clue how long it took them. They talked to us a little bit, then went and did their jobs.

I got put on oxygen in the firetruck. Eventually the ambulance gets there, and I was moved to it and put back on oxygen. I was on oxygen for more than 2 hours. I had a CO level of 23, that is 23% of my blood contained carbon monoxide instead of oxygen. And, during the whole 'escape' sequence I passed out 3 times.

Dizzamn. Any cause yet? I hope it wasn't an electrical fire because really, that would be too much.

It actually was an electrical fire. The power company came out before hand and was trying to solve the power outage problem. In doing so they decided to mess with the breakers inside the house. Apparently they're not allowed to do that. So they're (the reality company) rebuilding the house for free and putting in a second floor. Also, they're suing the power company.

You know, I normally find your trolling somewhat funny, but thats just fucked up. Sprinkles really could have died, and not only that, but he was courageous enough to put himself back in harms way to make sure his family was safe. I don't care weather you're joking or not, fuck you

Don't be offended.

Right.

SRAW, if I told you to go die in a fire, then you were actually in a fire, would you be all that impressed if I expressed disappointment that you'd survived? You have some serious lessons to learn about social interaction. To be honest you are symptomatic of the problems the internet suffers as a whole.

Well, I probably wouldn't be offended if somebody told me they wished I'd died in a fire when I was in a fire. Especially if I already knew they were a troll. There's not really a limit on trolling. Some woman gets raped? Proper troll response: "Haha, you have unwanted sperm in you! Too bad he didn't murder you too..."

I mean... of course it's 'not cool'. That's the whole point of trolling. To piss people off. And you're all showing evidence of being pissed off very clearly! Why are you doing that? You are feeding the SJCOM official troll his favorite snack!

You say that, but there's a line. I dislike this whole idea that it is somehow expected or appropriate behaviour. It's misguided and wrong.

Go on, say that that's just my opinion and that it does not matter and that there's nothing I can do about it anyway.

I was expecting something approximating a human response, actually. It's too easy to trivialise people into words on the internet.

It's not appropriate, but it is expected. We all know he doesn't actually mean that, nor can he actually effect the situation. SRAW obviously doesn't care enough about Sprinkles to care if he lives or dies.

I don't find his trolling to be amusing directly, but your response to it sure as hell is. It's not like you can make SRAW feel bad... it's not like you're going to make him realize: "Oh no! I really hurt someone this time!" That's what he's trying to do! What was the point of even saying anything to him at all?

...other than to amuse him and me?

The vast majority of people are incapable of caring about people they don't know. SRAW is obviously one of those, as am I. I think most people just don't want to accept that. Realistically, disasters happen, people die... blah blah, only the people directly involved give a crap. I couldn't make myself care if I tried.

Fuck it, I'm not getting into this argument. I've said what I wanted to say. I'm not one of these people who is apt to post on Facebook pages commemorating the latest tragedy; that's pointless and shallow. However, when someone who I have at least shared a dialogue with on occasion posts a story about fairly major accident, I will sympathise. It's not really impacted my life in any way but that doesn't mean I am completely lacking in empathy.

I still hate the whole "expected" behaviour idea. It's not and shouldn't be. Since when did it become normal to wish someone you've never met to die in a fire? Anyway, my participation in this thread is over.

He's trolling on the internet. Its not something to take seriously no matter what he says. I'm not offended by it in the least, because I know, face to face, he would never say that shit. Jus' like I know he'd never call a gangster a nigger to his face, or laugh at a rape victim. He sees the distance between him and whoever he is trolling as security, which makes him a pussy.

The worst thing you can do to a troll is ignore him. He is only interested in your responses, in making you mad or sad. SRAW is the type of person that hurts animals and then laughs about it. SRAW is truly fucked up in the head.

Remember -- next time the power company tries to kill you, just call Sprinkles. He'll save your family and your pets.
