It's been so long I don't even remember how it ends... or begins... or much of anything. All I really remember is that weird creature that the main character (WHOSE NAME I DON'T EVEN REMEMBER) kept inadvertently killing throughout his life and it kept getting resurrected as different stuff including that pot of daisies.
