Ever heard the phrase "pay [someone] back in spades?" 'Cause we's all about the phrases here.
When someone says something truly worthy of scorn, you can click on the spades and demand payment. It will then enter a voting process, and if the other board members agree, the offender will "pay in spades", reducing their current spade count which could lead to their posts being limited to one a day until they regenerate enough spades (spades regenerate 1/4 per day). If the board members think you're out of left field on this one, you get to suffer the same amazing fate.
Jacksmoke is isolated. He lives alone, never speaking to and with others. It's only by coincedence that he keeps bumping a computer and making it post at us.
