Own the GC version, wrote a Walkthrough for it too.
It's probably the most overrated game in the series and the plot can only be properly apprehended by pubescent teenagers whose brains are all wacked out on hormones. Some of the characters in it are among the most annoying ever unleashed on this earth. I try to ignore its place in the RE timeline as much as I can, almost as much as Gaiden, but Gaiden tops it because holy fuck that would mess up a lot of things.
Outside of 4, which pwnz and everyone knows it, 2 is probably the best followed by the REMake, Three, and Zero. I've never played any of the ps2 games and survivor is kind of a joke anyway. The original should also be played, but only for how HILARIOUSLY BAD the dialogue is.
