Unfortunately, we had server issues at Party #3 today. My hosting company (aplus.net) had about an hour network outage, right as the party was supposed to start.
That wasn't all.
Let me explain.
I started working on the gameserver to get GunGame working at 9AM. I had 3 hours. First, Counter-Strike stopped working. Something about a corrupted metadata file. Steam Forums said this means no more Counter-Strike until you re-install Windows. So I dug up my Vista computer and continued. I had to uninstall CS Respawn because it was causing the game crash. Then adhesive joined and we were testing it out when Vista BSOD'd. So I dug up my ol' XP computer, installed CS, and kept trying. Then, at 11:50AM or so, the server facility went offline.
AAAARRRGGGGHHH!!
Anyway, it finally came back online at about 1PM and a few people showed up. It wasn't quite configured correctly but it was fun.
Here's the results:

de_verso 
adhesive and Djuice27 (Krak` or whatever) each won twice and get 132 points.
Molkman gets 31 points for showing up. Was anybody else there? I don't recognize the names.

That's pretty harsh. I had a look at about 10 past (finished my hand-ins) but obviously couldn't get on.
Funnily enough I've not ever had Vista BSoD on me. Despite that I will still be dual-booting with Ubuntu as Vista is moderately slower than, say, any suitable analogy as I can't think of one at the moment.
I'll be sticking on Ubuntu sometime next week. If I'm not around the forums for a while you'll know I've deleted the C: BOOT partition :D
Oh yeah, who won? etc

Hopefully its always 1.6? cause thats all i got...other then source and CZ which arent installed and i have no clue how to play 
There should also be difrent stuff like Surfing....maybe KZ maps...and SoccerJam....SoccerJam is fun!

I was AFK most of the time (I had a lot of unexpected things come up  ), and the rest of the time I was REALLY REALLY laggy. It wasn't very much fun for me, but I suppose some people probably had fun easily destroying my chunky carcass.
Lag + AFK = lots of getting knifed. Meaning I never got to use anything past the first couple of guns no matter how many people I killed.
Anyway. FreshMap. Yes. Now. Why aren't we doing it yet?

Can't handle... counter strike? What have you got running? It goes fine here, on a laptop, Which is fairly crap. (as in, this isn't CS:S. That runs at a hilarious 12 fps on this.)

I just wanted to play on awp_city to get behind enemy lines and rack up the kills. It worked but turbo mode wasn't on so I didn't get my gun-ups... :<
FreshMap is my new map generator for HL. It generates hilariously awesome HL coop maps.
