1.This one's about Hammer Mapping-- PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not be mean to new people on the forum. I know it can get irritating to answer the same question over and over again, especially when the truck right under has the answer. But still...

2. More or less the solution for subject 1-- Is it possible for me and anyone else who'd like to (Biggins!), to write the answers to FAQ (ladders, doors, knife-only, etc.)... And the explanations we write will be added to the tutorial's Advanced part?

Well, if it's any good even my worthless ass can post your advanced tutorials in there. All I have to do is find out where they are and I'm sure I can add stuff to them. Soopyjam's is lazy and not here often enough to do it.

Remember, pictures, diagrams and charts (especially pie charts) are very useful. And it has to NOT SUCK. At least "I" have to understand what you're talking about for me to add it. I know just enough about hammer to be considered a "hammer noob" so I'm a perfect test subject. (other than the fact that unlike most people who ask questions in the hammer forum my brain function data sheet doesn't have little red x's all over it)

This is all, of course, at superjer's discretion. Like his discretion to let me log on as root so I can change that sort of thing.

I wrote two pages:
1. Weapons (weapons at spawn, weapons on ground, bombsite, and disabling buying)
2. Invisible/see-through objects.

I'm making a third on how to create custom textures, but I don't have a link for Wally. I know it's on telefragged.com, but all the links they have lead to $#!7.

I have been gone for a few days, it was Brawl time. But I'm back now.

I would say "Make a buyzone / Disable buying" as that seems a more progressive way of learning and is actually how you list it in the actual section. Also your last list has a comma before the and. This is called an "Oxford comma", I'd leave it out personally (as is the norm) but as it somewhat comes down to style you can do whatever you want! Aside from that, everything appears to be pretty much perfect to me. I think it's pretty damn decent.

BTW, if English really is your second language (which I'm having a hard time believing), you write it better than the vast majority of people who have it as their first.

To avoid people posting Hammer questions in the wrong forum, just make the link on the tutorials page that says "Got Questions? Ask them in the Forum!" (or something) link to the hammer section.

Yeah, but our praise and admiration of you goes well-known even when left unspoken. If I was to put it into words, it would go something like this:

"In neither history nor myth, mankind has never been visited by a being so worthy of idolization and fresh, unspoiled cold-cuts as Molkman."


Ahem. Anyway. Edan, if you wanna make a screenshot of a buyzone with the note about buyzones being invisible poorly mspainted onto it in the same fashion as SuperJer, be my guest. It could be a dual screenshot of some really simple mock level with 2 different textures on the buyzone. It could have a note stating "DOES NOT MATTER <3 XOXOXO" or something to that effect. Whatever works. If you don't do it, I will, but I'll be lazy and take forever.
