Also, have you seen some of the achievements medics have to aim for? They look difficult.

Because I like being recognised for hitting stuff with toilets. Also, if you managed to send the gnome into space wouldn't you tell everyone? (well anyone that cared, which I believe to be most of the people who play HL2 Ep2)

Those people talking about TF2 unlocks are completely retarded. At least half of them referred to BF2 as being bad because the unlocks made you better than newbs, so you had to level grind to catch up...
The unlocks are NOT better than the original guns. They're just different. In TF2 it could be exactly the same way for all any of them know.
Seriously. Unlocks in BF2 aren't better, you can look up the exact stats for them on the interwebs. I'm not even fucking kidding.

I played BF2. Then came the magic of Source (ie I finally bought it) and I just kinda drifted away from it. And I have to say, the majority of the people on the internet, sorry the planet are just really stupid. Having read a bit more about the new unlocks they do look balanced- see the new medigun, for example. It is better for heavies, but worse for pyros, say.
