This is very funny. However, it reminds me of a character in Borderlands who uses Welsh modes of speech in an Irish accent with occasional forays into dulcet Scottish tones. Though this is for the main part "Scottish".

You need to understand that English speakers outside of Europe cannot generally tell the difference between Irish, Scottish and Welsh accents. That probably has something to do with it. At least everyone knows if somebody is original-style English accented.
Would that make Australian extra-crispy?

It makes sense, as I'd probably have difficulty telling where in America you came from. But then I would still have expected better from a voice actor. They're supposed to know what they're doing! And it's not just accents, it was word choice. I mean, "boyo"? Irish? REALLY?
In fact, I call bullshit on that. While I've been asked if I'm Irish before I have never been confused by a Welshman. That's something totally other.
