Decimal (base 10) is what we use; 10 digits (0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 0). Hence "base 10"
Hexadecimal (base 16) is what HTML colors are coded in. Hex digits are 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, a, b, c, d, e and f.
Hex a = Dec 11.
