Today at about 1900 hrs the fucking heatsink on my CPU FELL OFF.
This was during a Counter-Strike match too, amazing timing. Luckily I opened the case and grabbed it before it unhinged entirely because it would have fallen right onto my Gfx card and smashed it to bits. 
Moral of story = check and make sure you're processor cooling mechanism is securely attached. Mine has been on there for over a year with no sign of a problem until just now.
So I bought a new heatsink and fan (super quiet) and miraculously my CPU is NOT fried and I seem to have suffered no hardware damages.
