Well there's a file called materials.txt in your sound folder. It has a list of all the sounds that the textures make. In sounds/player folder, there are all the sounds when stepping on things. If you have a custom kitchen floor sound, I don't think you will be able to get it on. If you are fine with the default tile sound, just name your kitchen floor texture to one with the tile sound on the list in materials.txt.

You can find materials.txt in your counter-strike.gcf file. Get GCFScape from Nem's tools to get it.

WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT EDIT THE MATERIALS FILE

I don't know which floor you mean, but the only way you could get it is by using the same texture as the original map... Or any other texture that has the same sound according to materials.txt

I know what he's talking about. It's "Apartments", for those of you who play(ed) in CAL or similar leagues.

The sounds you're looking for are attached to any "tile" texture. Look through the Materials.txt file and find the ones marked with a capital T and scope out the scene there buddy.
All the "T" textures will produce the tile sound as in inferno.
