If anyone can teach me how to stop trying to play this game I would appreciate it greatly. It's entirely addicting, but I suck too much at it to have a good online game 9 times out of 10. If you have any patented DotA-Off techniques... I am in dire need.

For my part, I don't like DotA at all. It's too complicated. I once just bought alot of those "speed gloves" or whatever, so I could attack fast as a machine gun, but I soon realised that my so-thought strength was nothing compared to the other players. Too much strategy, tactic and thinking for me.

If you really want to play DotA you have to go in with the attitude that you are going to lose HORRIBLY the first 20-30 times. There's waaaay too much to learn to possibly get it right on the first try.

I don't like that it's still basically impossible for me to win, but I DO like that there's so much I still haven't done. I don't like it when games are easy to figure out, it's more fun to have some mysteries to solve.

I'll be your sensai, i am semi-good at dota. Though I do hate how when a new update comes out for Dota you have to relearn part of the game.

The new Invoker seems to be a colossal waste of time... he was useless when he was in the "Fun Tavern", and now he has LESS abilities... although the extra levels of invocation are kinda nice.

I played as the Old N'aix in the Fun Tavern, just to see if everything everyone said about him being the most astronomically overpowered hero ever was true... good god... what were they thinking when they made him!? Most melee heroes are lucky to get 30% lifesteal by late game, and most can stun or slow somebody for 2-5 seconds every 15-30 seconds...

Old N'aix can easily get 75% lifesteal, and can slow somebody about 2 times a second... AND he has an "immune to magic" that's better than the Omniknight's... it's not a even a question of CAN you kill him, or CAN you run away from him... it's can you even damage or see him before you're already dead...

Only hero I ever played that I did better than that with was Razor with something like 4 divine rapiers and 2 burizas... 1-hit killed all 5 enemy heroes in the span of 4 seconds and then killed their entire town before any of them had time to respawn...

Long games in which you are allowed to farm the ENTIRE time are hilarious.

Its not even a game really; its a map for warcraft 3 that some guy waaay overdid, cause he had waaaaaaaaaaaaaay to much time.

It's a map for Warcraft 3, but it isn't ANYTHING like the normal game in Warcraft 3. Don't let anyone confuse you!

that reminds me of last year when some our school yearbook staff asked some kid what his favorite game was, and he said warcraft 3.
it ended up in the yearbook as world of warcraft 3.

he got pissed.

i was at school when i wrote that ( they didn't let us on the inter-net cause we had write down some stuff first ) ... so i was kinda undercover , and didn't read it with attention

btw i never played warcraft 3 i think the last one i played was the original 1 ( idk when that was about 4 years ago maybe )
