Its my favorite game.

So I downloaded this iso file with limewire, and I open it up and spy a keygen folder. So I'm like, Hmmm, a virus. Virus scanning by my horridly outdated Mcafee anti virus did not detect anything, and neither did my up to date AVG anti virus. Also, I'm not even sure how to burn the ISO file.

How would you burn an ISO file? And do I run the keygen? Blargity?

...why would you burn it if you can just use daemon tools? Also keygens in ISO downloads are usually legit, except that you got it off limewire instead of torrenting it... for some reason... which increases the risk.

It's pretty unlikely someone would go to all the trouble to distribute a big ol' ISO, modified, with a keygen, just to get a virus out. There are much easier ways.

What I'd recommend is getting a shit-computer and running suspicious programs on it only, while NOT connected to the Interweb. You can get a shit-computer from a garage sale for like $5. Depends on if you really need to do this a lot though....

Sup's idea sounds like a good one.

A little more info:

I saw the same iso file in a torrent site, (because I googled the filename), and (separately) oddly enough, the keygen for the ISO had this file icon...

Which makes me all the more suspicious.

EDIT: Ok, so I burned the ISO file. Now I'm scared to run the CD

Google Image Search is helpful. Also, I ran it all and all of it was legit... so happy easter everyone!
