the tutorial has a problem when i make a mapname.bat and click it then it just opens notepad pls help me i tryed everything i made it mymap.bat and edited it and saved it but it still dosn't work!! :-L

amm the tutorial doesn't have a problem you do...
you sure you unchecked file extensions hiding ( like explained in the tutorial  ) pls check cause if its checked then its really mapname.bat.txt get it ?
EDIT : use search button !

have you edited the bat file like in the tutorial double check pls 
post the contents of your . bat file

Im mean to him cause i know him i told him about this forum and i told him if he needs help he can ask me to ( ps a told him the forum and tutorial is good ) but whats the first thing he says ?? "the tutorial is wrong "
.i wrote the search part big so other people learn to use it

Everyone always says the tutorial is wrong.
"I did exactly what you said and it didn't work!"
Funny, because it's worked for thousands of other people.
Making CS maps is way too complicated (thanks, Valve) but when it doesn't work, wouldn't the logical response be: "Hmm, I must have missed something..."?
I guess not.

Well, obviously I am always right and everyone else is in the wrong.
Problems start when everyone believes that.
I guess it's just another manifestation of the average intelligence thing- 85% of people thinking that they are above it, or whatever the percentage is.
