If it doesn't look like Windows, then it's probably a BIOS password.
You need to reset your CMOS.
There are 2 ways to do this:
1) On your motherboard, find the reset jumper. It should have 3 pins and be labeled 'RESET' or 'CLEAR CMOS' or somesuch. Move the jumper from the two pins it is on to the other two it can be on. Then turn on the computer. Your CMOS will be reset and it won't ask for a password any more. Then turn OFF your computer and put the jumper back to where it was. Otherwise it will reset every time you turn on the computer. This also resets the time, which is annoying.
2) Remove the battery from your motherboard. It looks like a large watch battery. Leave it disconnected for several minutes and then put it back. This SHOULD clear the CMOS, since it has no power.
