I read the graphic novel a couple of months ago. It was all right, it had it's moments, but the ending felt like it just got to the point where Moore didn't know what he could do anymore and decided to stop it. I saw where Time had named it one of their 100 Greatest Novels, but I think that's more of a nod to "hey, this picture book thing might turn out to be something" instead of it having a strong artistic merit.
Like all of Rorschach, liked Manhattan's personal reminiscences... there was a fair amount to like, it's just that none of it really blew me away.
