There's no way you can prove there aren't pointy elf ears under Kirilenkova's hair. There aren't, but you still can't prove it.

Original War it is then. The pictures all seem to be on the Wiki. Saying that they are of inferior quality.

We of the SJCOM.web use the names Platanov, Belkov, Petrosyan, Gnyevko, Kirilenkova and Jaworska frequently when playing games together. Such as EVE, where everyone understandably believes we are Russian.

It is run entirely by the players, it's very different from other MMO's. No cranking xp, no idiotic repeatable quests. When you go out to do something important, it's generally attacking another group of players' installations or freighter routes. What you do actually feels like it means something, which is kinda nice.

I should warn you, things start out very slow if you don't want to be a pirate. And if you decide to be a pirate you're pretty much stuck that way. It's not some 'class' you get stuck with, it's just that people will remember and distrust you.

Cool, sounds good. :)

I don't really have the time to get involved in something that large at the moment, or probably at any time.

The best time to start playing EVE is when you don't have time to play EVE, actually. The skills you train (they train passively, whether you're on or not) are determined by your starting attributes (perception = awesome, charisma = suck, etc). If you start out before you know you're going to be able to devote the time to really play the game, then you can be training the skills that will boost your attributes. That way, when you start playing the game and really want a particular weapon or ship, you won't have to wait as long to get it.

That thought had somehow not occurred to me. However, if you're a pirate... having your skills high doesn't matter. Pirates with less than 6 months or so of game time exclusively use cheap throw-away ships for their trade. The things you're attacking can't fight back anyway, so it doesn't matter if your ship has the most turbo charged plasma lasers or not. All that really matters is that you don't acquire much of a loss when you get caught by bounty hunters.

Ah... I still remember that one time Bre and I decided to pirate a mining barge, and we forgot to bring warp scramblers... normally it's impossible to pirate without them, because you have nothing to prevent your target from simply warping away... but the idiot had got himself stuck between several asteroids and cargo containers and couldn't lodge his ship free to warp. He also had the reaction time of an individual-sized pudding. Made more off 10 seconds of shooting that miner than the miner could make in 2 hours of mining...

You're very dense. I said MMO, did I not? If there's an MMO out there that is also an RTS I'd be very surprised. Just go google EVE or something.

Could be an idea, that. Have you heard about Demigod? It could be classed as an RPG RTS, which makes me wet, but then I saw a video. You should look it up though, it could be quite good. Dunno when it's out.

Also, am I the only one to think that a co-op RTS would be the shit? I can't believe that no developer has tried to implement that, at least to the best of my knowledge.

The 2nd to last battle in Myth 2 could be played co-op. It was very, very fun.

Myth and Myth 2 are RTS's made by Bungie. They have virtually no RPG elements in them. They're really more Real-time Tactical than RTS, though... but nobody ever uses that term.

That part was made unclear, by me, to them. To answer your question, no it didn't. But I wasn't going to tell THEM that. I could reproduce with *anything*. Anything living, anyway... plankton, mushrooms, caterpillars... whatever. I can't imagine how I would have used my penis for that.
