If you have game player equip and u give someone both AK and M4 will they be able to like choose which they want when they press the number "1" if u understand what i mean....

I could've figured this out by re-compiling my map but it takes 40 mins to compile so i just wanna make sure, because im only re compiling this map one more time!

Do you know aim_pistols? You get 5 pistols every round!
(My first real map is called awp_scout, you have both awp and scout)

yeah i even played a map where you started with m4 and ak47 and you could pick up a lot of other weapons without having to trow one out .. don't know how that's done maybe by giving ammo for all weapons ( or maybe a server setting )

Interesting... Cause I'd presume that the weapon limits were coded into the mod rather than set as server cvars or as part of hammer.

yeah it is strange ... but it was normal cs 1.6

i just remembered that i played it on my own server and i couldn't pick up the weapons only by trowing away the old weapons after like 4-5 round i could get all my weapons in my " inventory " ...

( you know you get m4 and ak at the start so you switch them with other 2 , then you get a noter set of m4 and ak the next round . and so on )

so i think it could be something like a server setting or i don't know

It might just have been a script running on the server. I know that GunGame for Source can be a bit funny with the way it does things sometimes, especially on turbo mode (which I hate).

Hey guys,

I would like to appologize on bumping an old thread; but I found that it's talking about the same subject. Kinda.

I tried using game_player_equip.. Like I selected my player entity then went to properties, then selected game_player_equip and I selected yes only to knives.. But when I run the map I can't join any team.. can you guys help me?

EDIT: I am creating a map for cs 1.6

Also, tomato in Arabic is "tamatam", not "bandora".

Hehe sorry about that.. and it depends on the accent.. but in the asian part of the middle east (gulf, jordan, lebanon.. etc) they say bandora or banadora (again also depends on the accent).

And the word bandora is a slang word.. like you can't write that in old arabic style.



It was for me because what I did is that I basically changed info_player_start/info_player_deathmatch to game_player_equip (so there wasn't any player slots available).
