Pantera is pretty damn good, best band ever, but Metallica + Godsmack + Disturbed = pretty good too.

Oh, and I forgot Guns & Roses.

Not hardcore punk, but still damn good.

And I am damn suprised that you dont like Godsmack. If you are lookin for stuff like Pantera, than that is probablly your band.
