Hah, I guess looking at it the blown highlights on the lettering make it really pop, look a bit unnatural, kinda like the shell in this other shot of mine. Contrast will do that to you. Hold tight another few hours, I'll set you straight.

So it was Friday afternoon and I spaced taking a picture of me in front of my reserved sign. Have instead an Instagram of the hula girl on the dash of my car, in which you can observe the eerie reflection of said reserved sign. Good enough for gov't work.

Yaya, camera!! I've posted a few square ones lately, those are all Instagram on my DroidX. The diptych is two of those, I used photoshop for the layout and border, but I could have used MSPaint or GIMP or any number of other programs.
When I post pictarz that are rectangular, that's my shitty Canon 450d. Sometimes I do post in Lightroom, or use Photoshop to stitch a panorama.
When I manipulate things that's Photoshop. Any raster drawing program works, like GIMP or others.
When I make drawings like the dark catch-phrase ones I did or the Heiroglyphics one, those are in Illustrator but any vector drawing program will work. InkScape is free and I've heard it's good, but I've never used it.
When I do things quick and dirty, that's MSPaint or your mom.

I like Inkscape, it's quite nice. Just nice software. Instagram are pretty interesting... I don't use it, but Facebook bought it for $1bn in cash and shares. That's not bad for a company that is all of 550ish days old. It also translates to about $35 per user... if, of course, you believe that Facebook is worth $100bn.
