Hey mates, how do i open a map, to remix it?, i know theres many firetrucks about it, but i can't get it, wally and stuff, because i want to make na remake of cs_assault. thanks for all perhapsing upcoming replies.

Turning a .bsp into a .map is called DECOMPILING. There is a program you can use to decompile maps, but it is horrible. It is almost impossible to compile a map you decompiled... You'll get dozens of errors.
If you still want to have a shot, try this.
May contain traces of invisible text.

your better of not doing it ...
if you successfully converted a BSP file into a .map file you can save it where you want . you an open it from anywhere

ok, btw.... if i make an .bsp into an .map , put it on dwesktop, how and what porgram do i get it into valve hammer editor.... i stil lwant to try. Thanks.

amm you can open any .map file from anywhere on your pc with hammer  don't need any special program to open it .....

WTF ?? you CAN open a map file with hammer no problem at all !
hammer can open rmf and .map files you don't have to rename anything ..... 
there are 3 tipes of files :
.rmf this is the valve hammer editor file
.map this file can be read by BOTH hammer and zhtl compliers
.bsp this is the file that cs / hl can read but hammer cannot ...
