Why is at the login screen under all the options a "stylishly" box you can click on? What happens if you click and dont click it? Any difference? i have done both but i cant spot any change.

Yeah, I find that slightly annoying...

It's because there is a cookie that Soopererjams stores on your computer. If the server notices you logging in from a different computer the cookie on t'other one becomes invalid.
On a side note, enough with the deleting posts! Who keeps on doing this?

Ah so you telepathically tell the computer to download the special prgramm made by handicapedsoft with which you then write whatever you don't want. Clever.

Imagine what it was like to me after a two day administrative leave... NatureJay even had to introduce a bull prohibiting any posting until I managed to caught on.
Though naturally it didn't have the desired effect - this is the poofypyjamapants fourum after all.

As long as you don't clear your cookies and stay on the same computer, your stylishness will survive.
If you switch back and forth between computers (or browsers) you gotta keep logging in.
Can I see a show of hands? How many people like/don't like this?
Also you guys delete spam so fast I don't get a chance to see it. Somebody leave one up and e-mail me or tell me the user name or something so I can investigate.

I don't like the part where you have to log in again if you change computers.

I'd like to log in from a couple of computers. But then, I'd like to be able to log in from any other computer, I forgot my password... I got really paranoid that you guys could read it so I changed it to something but I really can't remember it.

It is wise to be paranoid about your passwords. Most sites do not encrypt them. As it happens I am a privacy nut so your passwords are all 1-way encrypted and no one can read them. Just so you know.
I have about 5 passwords I use for everything. Each one represents a different level of security. I use my low-security password for forums and random sites and lots of my friends/coworkers know it.
My higher security passwords are for things like my bank etc. and only I know them.
I need to build a reset password thing...
