Uh, L4D2 is like disappointing sex with a beautiful prostitute; she knows the moves and has a great reputation... Sex, even when bad, is still pretty good, but really, you expect more.

Ha! I have found out that L4D2 is like sex, that is, it needs more than one person.

The AI is pretty shit. Somehow, they have buggered the entire pathfinding system with a rough stick. I've seen zombies the infected do some strange strange moves. It's so bad it affects the animation system.

I've enjoyed L4D2 considerably, I was at my SuperJer's house playing it on the weekend. Even with terrible teammates like Nezumi, it was still highly enjoyable. My only real problems are with a strong sense of gimmickiness the game gives me at some places, and the vast overpopulation of weaponry. Seriously, L4D didn't have HALF as many guns laying around as L4D2. It's like easy mode or something.

My other problem is that my computer at home overheats and freezes after about 20 minutes of playing it... oh well. Guess I'll have to go to SuperJer's a lot.

I'd say I have very much enjoyed it, but it's the AI that gets me. Have you noticed this?

Also I am finding it far harder (on normal) than L4D ever was.

EDIT: Though this is with the AI which I believe to be shit.

I never really took the AI in L4D seriously in the first place. I haven't noticed any real difference. I could bet that it's because many of the levels are far less linear now, though, and that may cause AI issues.

That's a fair point. My flatmate and I noticed some of 'em climbing up lampposts instead of walking around them, that sort of thing. We wondered if they'd get that sorted for release, but no. I've had a fair few shuffle towards me as well, other zombies have ignored me in favour of climbing an interesting bit of scenery. But I think you're right. At least they're patching it still.

Maybe they're not really zombies, but instead are doing a lot of PCP.
100% natural, no antibiotics, and bloodgrass-fed

The only people I've ever seen high on PCP did in fact climb flag poles inexplicably. That would make sense.
