Despite my Xbox being broken and my parents not wanting to repair it. Two games that involve 4 Player Co-Op is coming out soon. Yes L4D2 and Borderlands.
Why i made a truck about them is because well... They are both having a very nice deal. Coming out in a 4 pack for you and your 3 other friends for only 35 bucks!

I tried out borderlands some last night, it's kinda fun but hasn't really caught me up in it. So far the combat system seems to work quite well though.

I'm jealous of my flatmate's weapons, he is a higher level than I am. All my sniper rifles so far have been pretty shit; not enough in a clip. Good fun though :)

I played Borderlands a little and I'm unimpressed. Unless the world starts reacting a LOT more to what I do I'll have to pass on it.

There's not really that much world-interaction; you go places, kill some doods, get lootz, rinse-repeat. You know. The only thing I can think of is increasing the number of areas you can get to. But then I am only level 15.

I mean even just physically. Bullets don't even make marks on things, and you can't even stab a wall and have it make a sound. There's nothing to break, nothing to move... it's all so.. fake. The game is just so very plain.

Was it PC or Xbox you played it on? Because I had to turn on "bullet decals" when on PC. But you're right, the melee is a little crap/weak/disappointing/not there. And yes, the world is fake, but look! A new gun! I have an awesome sniper rifle now!

I think it's more a performance thing. Quite a few games have the option to turn them off; Source games allow you to specify how many you can have at any one time (the maximum is 4096, I do this because I have lots and lots of memory). It's funny, the performance on my machine kind of stays constant no matter the options I put on.

I'm lvl 50 Soldier and working on my lvl 20 hunter.. I think its a fun game. I played the demo to l4d2 and i orgasimed 20 times.

The L4D2 demo left me cold. It seemed too broken and unfinished; not something I expect from a Valve game. I've been playing a fair amount of Borderlands, I really rather enjoy it. The weapon-hunting is compulsive.
