Just create a brush, and select it.
Put the AAATRIGGER texture on it.
Press CTRL+T and choose func_buyzone.
You can set the team and stuff in its properties if you want.

Yeah. What does the AAATRIGGER do? I've made a few buyzones in my liftime and I never did that.

there should be a texture in your library called AAATRIGER. if you dont have it get the zhlt.wad from somewhere. it think superjer has it hosted here. im pretty sure AAATRIGGER is basically an invisible, untouchable brush that you can apply stuff to. so, if you applied a bombsite property to and AAATRIGGER, and went into the game, you wouldnt see a giant pink thing with a's all over it, but when you step inside where the brush was in hammer, you would be inside a bombsite. same goes for buyzones.

I did not do that, it just comes up as a pink/purple box.

You are SUPPOSED to use AAATRIGGER on things like triggers and other invisible func_stuff.

Sometimes it matters, sometimes it doesn't, but it's the general rule.
