I''m trying to make a pipe for the side.i can create cylinders horizontally but i dunno how to make it verticle. every time when i try to make a pipe vertically it makes a weird lookin shape.so please help me with this!!!

Make the horizontal cylinder, select it, press ctrl+m, select rotate and then input 90 under x or y (depending on the way you want it to turn.
If you want to make it hollow, it's a bit harder, since I wouldn't advise you to just use hollow or carve tool. If you want a tutorial on making hollow tubes, here it is.

How do you make things break when you trigger the C4???

Create a func_bomb_target where you want the terrorists to be able to plant the bomb.
In its properties set the target to multi.

Make a multi_manager and give it the name multi, disable smartedit and press add. In the 'key' field write exp and in the 'value' field write 0.
Press add again, in the key field write brush and in the value field 0 again.

Select the brush that you want to blow up, press ctrl+t and select func_breakable from the list. Give it the name brush. In the flags check trigger only.

Make an env_explosion inside the brush, name it exp and set the magnitude to wahtever you want.

Thanx man i got it now it worked.u rock mate de vita!!! oh btw another question. how do u spawn guns in the floor?? coz i wanna put 2 AWP guns on the floor.thanx.

use armoury_entity.

You don't need all that!You only need a func_bomb_target and a func_breakable. Set it up so the func_bomb_target targets the func_breakable, then in the properties of the func_breakable set "Explode magnitude" to a value higher than 0 and an explosion will be created when the object is destroyed.

lol that was actually one of the rare things I came up with myself.
I first posted it here on Dec 20th which is I think before I started looking at tuts and the forum on twhl.

@kd Hmm... I did write something like that in this firetruck but I didn't know whether it worked or not, so I rather stuck to something I knew would work.

render mode = texture
render amount = 0-255(255 opaque)

Depends on what kind of a vehicle you want to create.

If you want to create a vehicle where you can't corntrol speed, use func_train.
If you want a vehicle where you can control the speed at which it moves, use func_tracktrain.
If you want a vehicle where you can control speed and you can also steer, use func_vehicle.

Make a brush in the water (so that they occupy the same space) and make it a trigger_hurt. You can set some awesome things in the properties as well

You can not compile the .RMF file. You must export a .MAP file from Hammer and compile that.

You also have outside world errors which means you have stuff too close to the edge of the map-space in Hammer.
