Ok, I took my laptop apart recently broke it, tried to fix it, fixed it; but, now
My wireless adapter doesnt work [I am using an external one now]
My sound card/whatever isnt working
I made sure I plugged everything back in so....

Have you checked that they're not in some way damaged (for example torn in half - that could cause problems)? I don't really know what you mean by 'broke it'.
...and that's the bottom line because Mate de Vita said so.

Laptop hardware is exceedingly fragile. It's entirely possible you broke something physically without even noticing.

Is it possible that since I took it all apart that the bios reset or something and it jus' hasnt 'detected hardware changes' or some crazy crap like that.

Ok like I said, I am currently using an external wireless adapter [belkin] and for some reason occasionally it will disconnect then reconnect then all over again.

Seriously I am not a hardware guy, I went to install gta vc and "wow look at that" my cd/dvd isnt working.
ok well it is working i hear it running see the led but there is no cd/dvd drive in the device manager [correction there is actually ten but those ten [yes all ten] are virtual courtesy of alcohol.

another question when i connected my external wireless adapter this time it said something about it not being connected to the highspeed usb port so how can i tell if it is the highspeed fancy usb?
i always though it was in the back because thats where windows usually tells you to hook em
i have 1 in the side
