ok hmmm if i make a map in Hammer SOurce....
i will get a .VMF file or something (cant remember)

Hammer Source has a really good built in compiler. Use that. It does everything RIGHT.

I don't know. I don't have Hammer Source installed on my new compy. I'm sure you can find it, there's only SO many menu options in Hammer.
