setting aside that though the game play of H3 is awesome the graphics are sweet and plus its well new!..tired of the old h2 maps...but now theres more guns and grenades,YOU CAN EVEN MAKE YOUR OWN SPARTAN!

Halo 3 looks a lot like Halo 2 which looks a lot like Halo 1. Are you sure there's a difference?
I only noticed two new things about Halo 3

It is true that the map customisation is about as good as, say,
....
Even as much as I like Halo 3 I really can't think of a worse map editor-thing. Halo 3's s horrible, it would have been less insulting to leave it out. Maybe. 
Also I have heard talk that Halo 2 on the PC is frankly crap. Not one to shoot down a game not having played it, but maybe there's something in it.

Halo 2 on PC is better than Halo 2 on Xbox in every way. It's still got hideous problems, but the singleplayer campaign is fun enough to play through a few times. The multiplayer in all Halo games is complete garbage anyway, so I don't really care if there's bad netcode for the PC versions. I can't figure out why people are so excited about it, there's lots of games with much more interesting multipass then Halo...
...oh crap. I'm still bleeding. 'scuse me, do-it-yourself surgery time.

Halo 3 is about the best game out for the Xbox 360 so far. I never got to play Halo 1 or Halo 2 (Cause I never owned the original xbox :( ). I still think that the best PC game so far would either be one of the Half-Lifes or FEAR. FEAR fucking rocks. Never before in the history of mankind has there been such an awesome game. Except maybe HL2. ]
BTW: Garry's mod is kinda cool. I was playing it on my friends account.
And Crysis looks fucking awesome.
