hey i was just wondering why css shutdown when i try to play italy. Its all black, then it shutsdown, and then it says something about a internal thing.... i'm can't remeber exactly what it said but you should get the idea.

ps one of my friends says that the character shadows could have something to do with. but is their anything else that could be doing this too?

Not really. Try turning all your effects off - all of them. Also upgrade your videocard drivers and your DirectX version.

Yes. And before starting the game in steam, if it says "Your drivers are old and need updating and that might cause problams." that'd be a major hint.
