Who uses Google Chrome?
You ever notice that there are two instances of Chrome?
Is Chrome really that important that it has to have
itself running twice?
The only other program that has several instances of
itself is service host [svchost.exe]
pathetic

You sure have a lot of stupid shit running on your computer to be complaining about multiple instances.
I don't even recognize what half of those things are, and therefore they do not need to be running.

I believe the reason Google Chrome has many instances is to prevent one badly-behaving tab from freezing the entire browser, which is a nice idea actually. A good performance booster on multicore systems, which is like every one around now.

I just installed chrome because for some reason ff takes a couple of years to start every time on my laptop. I'm still using ff on my other computers though.
...and that's the bottom line because Mate de Vita said so.

Chromes nice, 'cause it gives you the internet, and thats it. There's no toolbars or textbars or steel bars or pullup bars, only the internet. The sweet sucky sucky internet.

Mate: delete your temporary files using the CCleaner. It's a bug on Windows, they're trying to find a workaround.

I'm pretty sure Chromium is available for Mac.
Also, the whole POINT of Chrome is that it runs multiple processes. So it's kind of silly to complain about it functioning exactly as advertised.
