Hi, I am making a surf map and I want it so that you cant buy at the spawn points, but you can in the buyroom. I searched this before and it said something about Info_map_parametres and Func_buyzone, but couldnt understand.

Just make a func_buyzone in the buy room.

Details:
1) Make a brush.
2) Select it and press Ctrl+T.
3) Choose func_buyzone from the list.
4) Make it usable by both teams, or make one in each team's buy room.

is it possible to switch off which team can buy and which team cant? or is that like the same type of thing like the spawn paradox?

You can permanently set what weapons each team can buy. I don't think you can switch buy on/off for a team.

then why did superjer say " make it useble for both teams " this should mean that it can be set only for a single team

well i know you can set it so only one team can buy things. i just want to know if you can alternate that, like how spawn points alternate in 1337sk337. i have a feeling its just as complex...

I have no clue about alternating stuff. If you know how to make alternating spawnpoints, have each team spawn over a different buyzone......and switch each round.

I think you get the point.

Maybe you could make "buy rooms" next to the spawns and only one is open each round.
