So I was making this really fancy map for Natural Selection, and well my computer decided to act funny last night, and so I was like "My computer needs a format, so let's do it!" Well what I forgot about was the map, along with everything else. So yeah, I'm mapless and I miss it :(

I also back my shit up. My desk in my room is filled with all my disks, including half my hard-drive from '04.

My parents refuse to buy me a jump-drive.

If I could back my items up on disks, I would do it but heres the problem....

When I was building my computer, I took parts out of my Dell. What I didn't take out was the CD Drive. Well the CD Drive I took from my friend was only a readable CD Drive and not a writable. So I decided I would get my old CD drive. Turns out, Dell hates me and nearly made it impossible to get the CD Drive out without destroying the whole case. So I left it there, and now I have only a readable CD Drive. I know it sucks, but I plan on getting a new CD Drive this Christmas so :)

There you go.

It isn't all bad, you can always back your files on savefile or something, then again, not the most reliable.

and screw dell, I have a sony viao. Look at av for refrence.

Well I got a Dell when I was new to computers, and then built my own computer this year. The Dell could never run any game at more than 50 FPS, this one that I have now runs all games at 100 FPS :)

Hint: Always build your own computer EVEN IF you've never done it before. The parts come with instructions. And if there's a computer store nearby they will help you (avoid big chains).

Buying a Dell computer or similar means:
[list]
[*]You pay more, and get shitty parts and broken parts.
[*]Your computer will come loaded with viruses and spyware (no kiddin')!
[*]Your computer will deteriorate and get slower and slower and slower within weeks.
[*]You will have to buy a new one in 1-2 years instead of 3-4 years.
[/list:u]

Yeah I know, I got a really crappy Dell before because I wasn't really looking for a "gaming" computer, just a home computer, and now I have a gaming computer that is topnotch!

Alienware is maybe OK but you can get a lot more buying from newegg

or your LOCAL computer store if you have one.

Also, Dell owns Alienware.

You don't really need AlienWare. It is so much cheaper if you buy part by part and then build the computer yourself.

Wrong!!!!

You don't really need AlienWare. It is so much cheaper if you buy cheap parts, dip them in dog shit, put it in shitty plastic casing and sell it to your nieghbor

Then again that would be impossible to sell it to your neighbor if you're living in the middle of no where.

I just got a badass gateway recently. Its got a Dual Core AMD 64 bit, and 2 gigs of ram. The graphics card is the ultimate suck though. A NVIDIA 6100.

Plus a flatscreen too.
If you jump high enough you'll hurt your ankles when you land.
