Looking for a game in Vidja Games
There really isn't a distinct skill for sniping in most fps's. There are some simulators such as SniperElite. All you have to work on is pointing and shooting. In bf2 all you need to do is...
1:Get Sniper rifle
2:Aim at someone not moving at their head, or if they are moving, judge where they will be when the bullet reaches them.
3.Shoot
3.Repeat if neccesary.
For a quick kill if your using the .50 cal, m24, or l96 pull out your pistol and shoot if you didn't get the kill but still hit.

This is horrible, valve should do it to cs:s first, but ricochet would be the best. Im fine with the ads aslong as 1.6 doesnt get dynamic weapon pricing.

Its only a matter of time before all games begin to have some form of ads/spyware bundled with it. Hopefully that game that CAL/CPL is developing wont have this crap.

I had to put a song in there somewhere because its a school project, couldn't use guns :( . Atleast i used the playkit, plus the preloader in Playkit forums.

sophmore in HS. Im thinking about working for a company like AMD or a company that makes computer mods like DangerDen. Too many people i know want to get into game design, but they have no idea what theyre talking about. If I do get into game design i was thinking about level designer/3d animator.

So what actually... in Vidja Games
im not entirely sure about this, but i think that a 3d enviornment is simply floating textures. The game uses math (graphing) to draw the polygon wireframe to a vanishing point, and the textures are layed ontop of these polygons. Depending on the players perspective the texture's image is skewed and distorted depending on the polygon's placement. Earlier 3d objects were rendered by "floating pixels" Half-Life was one of the games that pioneered actually laying bitmaps over polygons.
So I believe the graphics card will take this enviornment in 3d form, lay the textures, then compile the pixel placement from your point of view onto your monitor. well i think so
