CS doesn't allow weapons on the ground, i think. I seem to remember there being a post about it somewhere.
As for text you could make a decal with what you want to say on it; aside from that it would probably have to be brush geometry.

sure you can! add an "armoury_entity" using the entity tool (lightbulb on the left bar. then in the entity's properties (alt+enter) enter what weapon it is and how many.
about the text, use a program called wally. search for it in the forum search tool.

You may not have the armoury_entity in the list until you install the Expert FGD:
/learn_adv.php
To make your own textures, you need Wally:
/files/wally_155b.exe
Make sure you textures are one of these sizes: 32x32, 64x64, 128x128 or 256x256 and in 256-color mode. Any other sizes will break or look wrong.

You need to load the .FGD in Hammer via Tools->Options->Game Configurations->Game Data files:
Remove the old one and add the new one.
Also: The .FGD has nothing to do with textures... what do you mean?

You can download prefab cars and barrels and stuff (google CS prefabs or HL prefabs or mapping prefabs or hammer prefabs) but you should really make your own out of brushes.

Depends on the kind of file. If there are .MAP or .RMF then it doesn't matter where you put them. Just load them in Hammer and you can Copy-Paste into your map.
If they are .OL files, put them in your prefabs folder:
C:\Program Files\Valve\Hammer Editor\Prefabs
(or similar)

Here's a list of all the skies (environment maps) you can use in Counter-Strike:
http://www.vlatitude.com/resources/cs_sky.php
To set your map's sky just go to Map->Properties and set the cl_skyname to the name of one of those.
You can also download custom skies from sites like the Wadfather
Or make your own. There is a free program called TerraGen for doing that.

Wow ty, Superjer! One more question thoe. - Is it possible to get more textures, or is cstrike everything?
I watched a tutorial vid, and that guy had like 1 000 textures. Any idea what he was using?

You have more textures in your cstrike directory. those are wads from maps you have. you can make your own wads using a program called Wally. Downloadable here: http://www.telefragged.com/wally/
make sure the size of the .bmp you turn into a .wad is 16x16, 32x32, 64x64, 128x128, or 256x256.
I think that's all you need to know.

You can also download .WADs other people made. Also you can use the .WADs from other games (halflife.wad etc.) if you have them.

halflife.wad has the most textures but they are the oldest and pretty low-res. I like a lot of the CS .WADs like cs_bdog, cs_office...

Hi again! I got a question for ya. Let's say I wanna make a tall building with windows on it, perhaps a door, how do I edit where the windows or the door shoud be?

Since you have to use brushes, you have to think of it as "where should the solid wall parts be?"
Usually, if you have a door, then the wall it is in will have four parts: on the top, left, right, and bottom. You have to resize and move those four parts to move the location of the door (or window).
