if i wanted to put my name on the map... how would i go about doing that? a detailed as possible explanation would be greatly appreciated.

just make it out of brushes, thats the easiest way. so, if your name was John, you would make a J with a brush going across the top, then down, then another one on the bottom...
and so on.

well i made a texture, or spray, or logo whatever you want to call it and converted it to a .wad file. i have access to it in hammer and i can use it on my map but when i go into game and play the map the texture isn't there. any ideas?

You need to copy the WAD to your 'cstrike' folder.

yeah i had a problem that i never got fixed
i put decals in the map and the weren't there in game , i could see them it hammer , but not i game . never really cared to look it up anyway

go to the window were the stuff is and press the button above insert.(On your keyboard)
then go to paint and paste then save it and put it on photobucket or something.
