So I've always wanted to give a try at making my own stereoscopic images (meaning you can see them in 3d), and decided to give it a try. This is a screenshot of Morrigan from Dragon age.

To view it in 3d, cross your eyes until it looks like there are 3 images. Focus on the center image until you can see it clearly... voila.

Edit: Click on the image to view it full, it looks much better bigger

Move backwards from your screen a bit, you won't have to cross them as much.

When I cross my eyes it goes out of focus. This must be why I never got those funky images, where you have to semi-focus on them to see a dinosaur or something.

Its hard to get it completely focused... especially the first time you do it. But, with this type of stereoscopics, you will get a completely clear 3d image, not like those ones with the dinasaur you're talking about :P

That then my mind follows lines. The magic stuff flying up (or whatevah) doesn't want to go past the line between the pictures, no matter how close or far away I am.

Go get some 3d glasses and give them to me and I'll try to make something out of it .

The idea works (there's even a bunch of pro youtube videos with this up there) but I just can't do it =(.

Yeah the vids are cool, but your eyes hurt really bad after watching even one.
And, dragon age because... dragon age is awesome xD

Yeah. I think its because there isn't many defined lines to focus on, but rather a lot of particles. It looks awesome once you get it focused though, but is indeed harder to focus on.

I can easily do things like that, but not on THIS monitor. It's very far away and enormous. I'd need a picture that isn't a few feet across and barely fitting in my fov for this to work.
