i need to write a 250 word Essay on what the world would be like without shapes. because there is no way i could get 20 journal entries in my math class before these next 3 weeks r up . ideas?

A world without shapes. There are many shapes in this world that makes up the world itself. Shapes consists of everything from triangles, circles, hexagons, octagons and much more. The world itself is a shape, along with everything in it. But what if the world had no shapes. Having no shapes would mean everything would be crunched and messed upon its self. No shapes would mean not having form in building, or putting things together.
Though shapes seems like nothing in term, but in reality, shapes is one of the most needed things of this world, to be a world. Everything is of shape. Pencils would be crooked or meshed, papers would be cut in abnormal places. The octagon wouldn't even exist. If then, it would be the Meshagon, or just a normally named base.
Without shapes in this world, you wouldn't be teaching this class about measuring them. However, you would be teaching about how to measure mesh. If that's even possible. If so, you would have gone through a lot to get there. The kids would hate having you as a teacher cause of all the hard work of you would be putting them through. Inevitably the kids would find it simpler to come up with straight shapes, forming squares and circles and more. Making your hard work a waste.
"The world is not flat, it is a sphere". Thus, with these words shapes would be made. There can not be a world without shapes. Shapes are here..one way or the other. Becoming what they are in any form and fashion.
Its a little over 250. It might not really make sense. But if it works you owe me.

You could try the argument that since any surface can be approximated by any number of triangles, and when you take the limit of this surface, you have an exact representation. So triangles are a shape, we'd have nothing? Ugh, this is a stupid question. The question doesn't even make sense. Ask her to more closely define 'shape'.

oh and yeah, we didnt do an essay on a mathamatician instead on one category in the portfolio we get to list 30 facts about Euclid as one of our choices and not much is even known about him to what I can find
